Our country is plagued by seemingly insurmountable division and typecasting. From a corner deep in Appalachia, A HOUSE DIVIDED disrupts this dichotomy, and shows a place where conversations across political lines happen every day—they have to. The film documents these discussions as they heighten during an election year and demonstrates the complexity of a place previously defined by and confined to the media’s portrayal.
